If you want game play then the 360 is the clear winner. If your main use is playing movies then the PS3 is the way to go. I personally want a system that does one thing well. So if it games you want than the choice is clear. On the other hand if movies is your compelling choice then the PS3 is perfect. Bottom line is that its your choice.
